Fleet Services

The City's two Fleet Maintenance mechanics provide safe, operational equipment for all City Departments; maintain the City's fleet of equipment ranging from passenger cars to fire apparatus to heavy duty tractors and construction equipment; prepares specifications for new purchases and makes recommendations for the replacement of vehicles and equipment.

The fleet division is responsible for the maintenance of 78 vehicles and large pieces of equipment. This includes utility trucks, and electric vehicles. The shop is also responsible for the maintenance of non-rolling stock such as stationary emergency generators.
