CITY OF PATTERSON GENERAL PLAN
General Plan Update
Notice is hereby given that a Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) has been prepared for the aforementioned project in accordance with State CEQA Guidelines section 15080. The project consists of a comprehensive update of the City of Patterson General Plan. The General Plan addresses all of the sections, or elements, required by Government Code section 665302, including:
Land Use, Housing, Open Space, Circulation, Safety, Noise, and Conservation
In addition, the Patterson General Plan addresses the following optional topics:
Public Services, Economic Development, Parks and Recreation, Air Quality, and Climate Change
The General Plan Study area covers about 12,768 acres in western Stanislaus County about 20 miles southwest of Modesto adjacent to Interstate 5. The City is considering a range of project alternatives that would result in a buildout of population ranging from about 57,000 to about 75,000 by the year 2050.
