Water Division is responsible for maintaining an adequate and safe supply of drinking water, performing water leak repairs (approximately 1-2 per week), and maintaining the water distribution system. All water services in Patterson are metered. Meter reading is done every month. There are also 3 pump stations/storage tanks and 6 deep-underground water wells to operate and maintain. Managing the Water Operations Division is Water Supervisor, Mike Heard. There are currently five positions authorized in the Water Operations Division.

2009 Consumer Confidence Report

Once again, the City of Patterson proudly presents its Annual Water Quality Report. We test the drinking water quality for many constituents as required by State and Federal Regulations. This year’s Annual Water Quality Report covers all testing completed between January 1– December 31, 2009. We want to keep you informed about the water services we have delivered to you over the past year. Our goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water.

A copy of the Drinking Water Source Assessment is available at the California Dept of Public Health, Drinking Water Field Operations Branch (DWFOB), Rm 270, Stockton, CA.  You may also request an assessment be sent to you by contacting Joseph Spano, District Engineer, DWFOB, at (209) 948-7696.

The City has established a public information hotline and a dedicated e-mail address so customers can get all of their questions answered with regards to any water quality and water conservation concerns. 

All residents can have their water qualtiy/conservations concerns and questions addressed by calling (209) 895-8070 or via e-mail at
