Responsibilities of the Division
The Administration Division is responsible for providing effective leadership and coordination of departmental activities, support services for the field crews, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations relating to Public Works. Specific activities include:
- Administering the Stormwater Management Program
- Managing the Water Conservation Program
- Administering the Solid Waste Management Program
- Managing the Fats, Oils, & Grease (FOG) Program
- Administering the Floodplain Management Program
- Management of a combined $20 million Public Works budget
- Providing excellent customer service
- Coordinating the city's GIS and flood map programs
Work Requests
One of the most important functions of administration is providing customer service. To submit a work order, please submit a Customer Service Request form or contact our office at 209-895-8060. For emergency after hours work order requests, please call 209-895-8000, and select option "9".
