California Arbor Week

What is Arbor Week? California Arbor Week occurs between March 7 to 14. It is an annual celebration on trees and the role they play in our lives. During Arbor Week, trees are planted throughout the world, giving us the perfect learning opportunity. Trees are seen as a symbol of life and signify hope for the coming generations and their future.

Every year the city reaches out to schools and local groups for their participation in this celebration. This is not only an opportunity for students to have fun, but learn about the importance and understanding of trees.

This year's celebration will be held at Northmead School on Wednesday, March 8 from 2 to 4pm. The event is open to all students.
