Food Distribution Programs

The City of Patterson and the Hammon Senior Center are teaming up to promote a variety of food distribution programs.  If you have any questions, please call (209) 895-8180 or any of the contact numbers noted below for those individual programs.   

Hammon Senior Center Distribution

Every Thursday drop by the Hammon Senior Center parking lot to get your box of frozen meals.  Each box contains five frozen meals.  These meals are sponsored through Stanislaus County, Area Agency on Aging and the City of Patterson.  To register, please call (209)558-8698.

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is dedicated to the overall health of the population of at least 60 years of age and older, by providing supplemental foods and resources to qualifying individuals. Must apply in person and meet requirements for assistance.

Dates: Sept 2, Oct 7, Nov 4, Dec 2 Time: 9:30am
Location: HSC Craft Room Cost: Free to qualifying members

Green Bag Program

The Green Bag Program provides 10+ pounds of fruits and vegetables distributed to over 250 qualifying individuals once
a month throughout Stanislaus County. Distribution provided by the Healthy Aging Association, a non-profit organization. To
register, please call (209)525-4670. Although the program is currently full, please sign up to be on the wait list.

Dates: Sept 15, Oct 20, Nov 17, Dec 15 Time: 2:45-1:15pm
